Racing for 24 hours straight is a pure and noble test. The qualities demanded of the winners, both human and mechanical, are direct echoes of the values of perseverance and excellence revered by the Swiss watchmaker Rolex, which has long recognized the kindred spirit in a sport that leaves no stone unturned in the pursuit of perfection. Little wonder it has partnered with the two greatest endurance races in the world: the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Rolex 24 At Daytona. While setting their own particular version of the challenge, both stem from similar principles: make sure your car is fast and perfectly-prepared; make sure everyone from drivers to mechanics stays focussed.
